Youth in Science is a collective of scientists and teachers from San Jose State University and local K-12 schools who are dedicated to working with underprivileged youth in “classrooms without walls.” Our faculty is affiliated with the National Science Foundation’s Collaborative for Excellence in Teacher Preparation (known locally as the Math and Science Teacher Education Program, or MASTEP) which has its headquarters at San Jose State University.
