Most of the academic courses were established for the Master of Science degree program in Radiological Health Physics. This degree program is currently not available at SJSU. Some of the courses from the Health Physics program has been continued to offer support for the researchers and local industry. An increased interest has allowed for some of the courses to be offered more frequently. 

The Radiation Safety course listed here is taught by John Pickering, the Radiation Safety Officer. It is a two unit course offered in the fall and spring semesters. 

Other courses supported by the Health Physics Support are found in Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Physics and Marine Biology.
